SPIN Selling
Sales and E-Commerce
SPIN Selling is a consultative sales methodology developed by Neil Rackham, based on research into high-value B2B sales calls, that structures a sales conversation around four question types: Situation, Problem, Implication, and Need-payoff. Salespeople use it to uncover a prospect's underlying needs and build the case for a solution before pitching, rather than leading with product features. It is widely taught in enterprise and complex sales training programs.
