Xaphoon

The xaphoon, also called the bamboo sax, is a small single-reed woodwind instrument invented by Brian Efland in the 1970s, played with a clarinet-style mouthpiece and reed but shaped like a miniature saxophone. It has a range of about two octaves and is popular among musicians for its portability and distinctive, saxophone-like tone, often used in world and folk music.
