Guqin

The guqin is an ancient Chinese seven-string plucked zither without frets, traditionally associated with Confucian scholars and literati as an instrument of self-cultivation and refined solo expression rather than public performance. It has a history spanning at least 3,000 years and is recognized by UNESCO as a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity.
