Quadruple-Neck Guitar

A quadruple-neck guitar is a custom-built instrument with four separate necks/fretboards (often combining six-string, twelve-string, and bass or mandolin necks) mounted on one body, letting a guitarist switch between tunings and instrument types instantly during a performance without changing guitars. Such instruments are novelty or specialty builds, most famously associated with rock guitarists like Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick, and are prized more for stage spectacle and versatility than everyday playability.
