Saxophone

The saxophone is a single-reed woodwind instrument with a conical brass body, invented by Belgian instrument maker Adolphe Sax in the 1840s. It comes in several sizes (soprano, alto, tenor, baritone) and is a defining voice in jazz, while also being widely used in classical music, military and concert bands, and popular music.
