Suroz

The suroz (also spelled soroz) is a traditional bowed, fretless string instrument from the Balochistan region of Pakistan and Iran, used in Baloch folk music to accompany singing and storytelling. It resembles a smaller sarangi, with a body typically carved from a single piece of wood and gut or metal strings played with a horsehair bow.
