Stylophone

The Stylophone is a small, pocket-sized analog synthesizer played by touching a metal stylus to a metal keyboard, producing a distinctive buzzy, electronic tone. Created in Britain in the late 1960s by Brian Jarvis and popularized commercially by Dubreq, it became a novelty hit and was famously used by David Bowie on "Space Oddity." It remains popular with hobbyist musicians for its simplicity, portability, and retro electronic sound.
