Shōrin-Ryū Shidōkan
Shōrin-ryū Shidōkan is a style of Okinawan karate belonging to the broader Shōrin-ryū family, one of the oldest lineages of karate tracing back to Okinawan fighting traditions. It emphasizes natural, upright stances, quick linear strikes, and traditional kata (forms), along with weapons training (kobudo) in many of its schools. Practitioners study it both for self-defense and as a discipline for physical conditioning and mental focus.
