Karaoke

Karaoke is a form of interactive entertainment in which participants sing along to pre-recorded instrumental music while lyrics are displayed on a screen, typically in bars, karaoke boxes, or home setups. Originating in Japan in the 1970s, it spread worldwide as a popular social hobby for parties and gatherings, valued for the low-pressure fun of performing rather than technical singing skill.
