Bagpipes

Bagpipes are a wind instrument consisting of an air-filled bag, a mouthpiece or bellows for inflating it, and pipes (a melody-playing chanter and typically several drone pipes) that sound continuously as the player squeezes the bag. The Great Highland bagpipe of Scotland is the best-known variant, closely associated with military bands, pipe bands, and traditional Celtic music. Learning the instrument requires mastering both breath/bag control and complex fingering technique on the chanter.
