Kalimba

The kalimba is an African thumb piano, a type of lamellophone consisting of a series of metal tines of varying lengths mounted on a wooden soundboard or box, plucked with the thumbs to produce soft, bell-like tones. It's a modernized, standardized version of traditional African instruments like the mbira, now popular worldwide as an accessible instrument for beginners and relaxing, melodic music.
