Double Contrabass Flute

The double contrabass flute is an extremely rare and enormous member of the flute family, pitched two octaves below the standard concert flute, with tubing long enough that it's typically bent or coiled multiple times to be playable. Only a handful exist, built by specialist flute makers, and they're used mainly in flute choirs or as novelty/demonstration instruments for their extraordinarily deep register.
