Bokator

Bokator (Labokkatao) is an ancient Cambodian martial art said to predate Angkorian times, combining striking, grappling, joint locks, and weapons techniques. Practitioners traditionally wear a krama (checkered scarf) and train animal-inspired fighting stances representing creatures like the horse, crane, and naga. After nearly being lost during Cambodia's turbulent 20th-century history, it has been revived as both a cultural heritage practice and a competitive combat sport.
