Yubi Lakpi

Yubi lakpi is a traditional full-contact sport from Manipur, India, in which players try to carry a coconut greased with oil across the opposing team's goal line, similar in spirit to rugby. Played on a muddy field with no protective gear, it rewards strength, grip, and tackling skill, and it remains an important part of Manipuri cultural festivals and indigenous sporting traditions.
