Vajra-Mushti

Vajra-mushti is an ancient Indian combat sport combining wrestling with a knuckleduster-like weapon called a vajra-mushti ("thunderbolt fist"), traditionally made of ivory or horn. Historically practiced by professional wrestler castes such as the Jettis of Gujarat and Maharashtra, bouts involved grappling and striking with the weapon until blood was drawn. It represents one of the oldest documented armed grappling traditions in South Asia.
