Tour Skating

Tour skating is long-distance recreational ice skating over natural frozen waterways, canals, or lakes, most closely associated with the Netherlands where organized 'tochten' can cover many kilometers of countryside. Skaters follow marked routes, often stopping at refreshment stands, drawn to the combination of endurance exercise and scenic winter touring.
