Kite Ice Skating

Kite ice skating (also called ice kiting or snowkiting on skates) combines wearing ice skates with flying a large power kite that pulls the rider across a frozen lake or rink. Riders use the kite's pull for speed and jumps while using skate blades rather than a board or skis for grip and steering, making it popular in cold northern regions with reliably frozen, windswept lakes.
