Synchronized Skating

Synchronized skating is a discipline of figure skating performed by teams of typically 8 to 20 skaters who move in unison, executing formations, blocks, wheels, lines, and intersections in time with music. Governed internationally by the ISU, it emphasizes precise timing, spacing, and teamwork rather than individual jumps, and has its own World Championships separate from singles and pairs figure skating.
