Ice Skating

Ice skating is the activity of moving across an ice surface using skates fitted with a blade, practiced both recreationally at rinks and outdoor frozen ponds and competitively in disciplines such as figure skating, speed skating, and ice hockey. It requires balance, edge control, and stroking technique to glide, turn, and stop, and can range from casual leisure skating to highly technical athletic performance.
