Pair Skating

Pair skating is a figure skating discipline in which a man and a woman perform a choreographed program together on ice, synchronizing jumps and spins while also executing pair-specific elements like overhead lifts, throw jumps, death spirals, and side-by-side spins. It is one of the four Olympic figure skating disciplines and demands exceptional trust, timing, and physical strength, since one partner often supports or throws the other. Competitors are judged on technical difficulty and artistic unity between the two skaters.
