Samba Enredo

Samba-enredo is the theme song a Brazilian samba school composes each year to narrate its chosen storyline (enredo) during Carnival parades. It is performed live by paraders and the bateria (drum section) as the school marches before judges, and its lyrics and rhythm are central to the school's competitive score.
