Multi-Necked Guitars
Multi-necked guitars are guitars built with two or more necks on a single body, allowing a musician to switch instantly between different tunings, string configurations, or instrument types (such as six-string and twelve-string, or guitar and bass) without changing instruments mid-performance. They are most associated with rock and progressive rock guitarists performing complex live arrangements, with the double-neck guitar being the most common form. Collecting or building multi-necked guitars is also a niche interest among guitar hobbyists and luthiers.
