Ice Cross Downhill

Ice cross downhill, also known by the Red Bull-sponsored name Crashed Ice, is an extreme winter sport in which four skaters race simultaneously down a steep, twisting, obstacle-filled ice track built with jumps, banked turns, and drops. Athletes wear ice hockey-style skates and protective gear, combining speed, aggressive body contact, and technical skating skill. It emerged in the early 2000s as a spectator-friendly hybrid of ice hockey, downhill skiing, and BMX racing, and is now organized internationally through circuits like the ICE Cross World Championship.
