Field Game

A field game is a general term for outdoor team sports played on a field, and it is also the specific name of a traditional football code played only at Eton College in England, one of several historic Eton games alongside the Eton Wall Game. Eton field game blends elements of association football and rugby, played between houses at the school as part of its longstanding sporting tradition. More broadly, the term is used to distinguish pitch-based sports from indoor or individual pursuits.
