Epee

Epee is one of the three weapons used in modern Olympic fencing, alongside foil and sabre, characterized by a heavier blade with a larger bell guard and rules allowing touches anywhere on the opponent's body. Unlike foil, epee has no right-of-way rule, so both fencers can score simultaneously, rewarding patience and precise timing. It's often considered the discipline closest to historical dueling swordplay and appeals to fencers who favor a more tactical, individualistic style.
