U.S. Bank Posted 315 New Roles This Week, the Only Employer Above 1,000 Open | Career App Daily
U.S. Bank posted 315 new roles in the last seven days across the employer boards we track — more than any other employer in our crawl this week — and now sits on 1,007 open listings, the only employer in our top ten to clear a thousand.
For scale: the boards we track carried 9,538 new listings over the past seven days and 57,240 open listings in total. U.S. Bank accounts for roughly 3.3% of the new postings and about 1.8% of everything currently open. That is a large share for one company on a network spanning 687 employers hiring.

How that compares with the rest of the top ten
The week's second-busiest poster, Citigroup, added 289 roles — close behind on new listings, but with 476 open in total, less than half U.S. Bank's standing pool. Meijer (269 new, 662 open), Stryker Corporation (262 new, 749 open) and Ranger Boats (237 new, 716 open) round out the front of the pack.

The ratio is worth a look. U.S. Bank's 315 new postings are about 31% of its 1,007 open roles, which points to a board that has been accumulating listings for a while rather than one that just switched on. Compare Longs Drugs, where 210 of 214 open roles are new this week — almost the entire pool is seven days old — or JLL, at 230 new against 295 open.

Context for the week
The backdrop is a network that is posting more and closing more. New listings ran 9,538 this week against 8,008 the prior week, on boards we were already tracking before the comparison window opened. Closures ran higher still, at 19,041 in the same seven days, which is why total open listings can fall while new postings rise. Remote roles made up 5% of new postings.
All of these counts describe the employer job boards we crawl plus roles posted directly on the site — not the whole labor market. If you want to see how the crawl works, we document it in how we crawl employer boards, and current listings are on job search.
