AdventHealth Added 656 Roles This Week, the Most of Any Employer We Track
AdventHealth added 656 new roles in the past seven days across the employer job boards Career App tracks. That is the largest single-employer total this week, and it is 269 more than the second-place employer, U.S. Bank, which added 387.

The health system's open listings now stand at 1,001, the only total above a thousand among the ten most active employers this week. Two thirds of that open total (656 of 1,001) was posted in the last seven days, which says the board turned over fast rather than accumulating slowly.
Where it sits against everyone else
Across the boards we track, 8,986 roles went up this week, against 8,560 the week before. (That comparison only counts boards we were already reading before it started, so a newly added board can't inflate it.) AdventHealth alone accounts for 7.3% of this week's new roles, and its 656 postings are larger than the entire week-over-week increase of 426.
The ten busiest employers combined added 3,068 roles, about 34% of the week's total. So roughly one new role in three came from ten names, and roughly one in five of those came from AdventHealth.

Volume this week versus depth on the board
New postings and total openings don't rank the same way. Cleveland Clinic added 260 roles this week, less than half AdventHealth's count, but carries 902 open listings. U.S. Bank sits at 993 open on 387 new. Marriott International is the opposite shape: 205 new against 257 open, meaning most of what is live there went up recently.

Put the two health systems together and they account for 916 of this week's new roles and 1,903 open listings between them, more than any other pair in the top ten.
What the data does and doesn't carry
Our occupation and skill breakdowns are empty for this week, so there is no role-level detail to attach to AdventHealth's 656 postings, and employer counts here are not split by state. What we do have is the state picture for all employers: Florida logged 441 new roles this week, up from 416 the week before, fourth behind California at 884, Texas at 483 and New York at 451, with Ohio next at 263. Those are totals for every employer posting in each state, not AdventHealth's share of them.
Timing affects any open total we publish. We register a closure when we next re-read a board, so a closed role shows up in our counts about a week after the employer takes it down. A board with heavy weekly turnover, like this one, will carry some of that lag.
Context for the week
The wider picture is flat. There are 59,811 open listings on the job search today from 679 employers hiring. New roles over the last 30 days came to 40,531, against 40,491 in the prior 30, a difference of 40. Remote accounted for 5% of new roles.
Against that backdrop, AdventHealth's week stands out less for what it signals about healthcare generally and more for its size: a single employer putting up 656 roles while the overall pace barely moved. You can follow the daily movement on US hiring trends, day by day.
