Ranger Boats Posted 399 New Roles This Week, More Than Any Other Employer We Track

By Ben Garves

Ranger Boats posted 399 new roles in the last seven days across the employer job boards we track. That is 80 more than the next-busiest employer on our list, and it works out to about 4 percent of every new listing that appeared on Career App this week.

The company's total stands at 748 open roles, third-largest among this week's ten most active employers, behind U.S. Bank at 1,014 and Cleveland Clinic at 853.

How the week's top ten stack up

Ranger Boats leads the new-postings count, but the gap is not enormous — six other employers each added more than 200 roles in the same seven days.

Most new roles posted this week, by employer

The list is a mix of categories: banking (U.S. Bank, Citigroup), grocery and food (Meijer, Tyson Foods, See's Candies), health systems (Lifepoint Hospitals, Cleveland Clinic), commercial real estate (JLL) and pharmacy retail (Longs Drugs).

More than half of the inventory is new

One number worth sitting with: 399 of Ranger Boats' 748 open roles — 53 percent — were posted in the last seven days. That is a board turning over fast rather than a long-standing backlog of hard-to-fill jobs.

For comparison across the same ten employers:

  • Longs Drugs: 207 of 221 open roles are new this week, 94 percent
  • See's Candies: 319 of 477, 67 percent
  • Lifepoint Hospitals: 216 of 361, 60 percent
  • Ranger Boats: 399 of 748, 53 percent
  • Meijer: 299 of 665, 45 percent
  • Tyson Foods: 209 of 619, 34 percent
  • U.S. Bank: 318 of 1,014, 31 percent
  • Cleveland Clinic: 215 of 853, 25 percent

So Ranger Boats is not the fastest-refreshing board we track this week. It is the one that added the most listings in absolute terms while still carrying a sizable standing total.

The week around it

Context matters for reading a single employer's number. Across all the boards we track, 9,106 roles were posted in the last seven days, down from 9,354 the week before, a 3 percent decrease. At the same time, 8,630 roles closed. Open listings across the network sit at 59,157, from 682 employers hiring.

Ranger Boats added 399 of the 9,106 new roles posted this week. A handful of large boards do most of the volume on any given week, and this week Ranger Boats sat at the top of that handful.

Where the week's hiring landed

The geography figures below describe the whole network, not Ranger Boats specifically. California led with 986 new roles, up slightly from 977 a week earlier, followed by Texas at 668 and New York at 501. Ohio was roughly flat week over week, 273 against 279, and Arizona went from 161 to 198.

Remote roles accounted for 5 percent of everything posted new this week.

If you want to follow how one employer's board moves from day to day, the Ranger Boats page carries the live count, and US hiring trends, day by day tracks the network total. Our Job search covers everything currently open. Details on collection are in How we crawl employer boards.

Correction, October 11, 2026: An earlier version of this post counted every closed listing rather than closed roles, and compared each week with the one before using only roles still open, which overstated closures and growth. The figures above have been recomputed, and comparisons the data cannot yet support have been removed.
