Ranger Boats Led New Postings This Week With 363 Roles, 718 Open Total | Career App Daily
Ranger Boats posted 363 new roles in the last seven days across the boards we track — more than any other employer in our crawl this week. Its total open count sits at 718.
For scale: we recorded 9,975 new listings in total over the same seven days, from 691 employers hiring. Ranger Boats accounts for roughly 3.6% of everything new. Against the 56,987 listings open right now, its 718 roles are about 1.3% of the board.

Where it sits among the week's biggest posters
The top of the weekly table is tight. Ranger Boats' 363 leads, but Meijer added 340 and Cleveland Clinic 319 — a spread of 44 roles across the top three. Below that, JLL at 309, Citigroup at 299 and Tyson Foods at 295 are separated by single digits.

On total open roles, Ranger Boats is not the largest. U.S. Bank carries 941 open listings, Cleveland Clinic 903, NVIDIA 817 and Jabil 727 — all above Ranger Boats' 718, despite each adding fewer roles this week.

That gap between weekly adds and standing inventory is the more useful read. Slightly more than half of Ranger Boats' currently open roles — 363 of 718 — were first seen in the last seven days. That is a fast-turning board, though not the fastest here: JLL's 309 new against 363 open works out to about 85%, and Lifepoint Hospitals is at 245 of 344. At the other end, U.S. Bank's 241 new against 941 open means roughly a quarter of its inventory is fresh.
What the packet does not tell us
The brief asks what kinds of roles and where. Today's data does not support an answer for this employer. Our occupation and skill breakdowns for the week came back empty, and the state counts we do have are site-wide, not attributed to any single employer. So we can report that Ranger Boats posted 363 roles; we cannot say from this packet how many were production, sales, engineering or support, or which of the 12 states with openings they landed in.
The state table is worth reading on its own terms, without drawing a line to any employer: California led with 904 new listings (854 the prior week), Texas 582 (up from 399), New York 477, Florida 339 and Tennessee 287 (up from 207). The sharpest week-over-week move was Michigan, from 87 to 243.
Context and caveats
Overall postings were up modestly: 9,975 new this week against 9,541 the prior week, a comparison that excludes boards we only started crawling recently so onboarding never reads as hiring. Closures ran well ahead of additions — 18,016 listings closed in the last seven days — so the open total is shrinking even as new volume holds. Remote made up 5% of new postings.
Everything above describes the employer job boards we crawl plus roles posted directly on the site. It is not a read on the wider labor market, and a single week of one employer's postings can reflect a board refresh, a seasonal push, or a batch re-post as easily as net new headcount. We report what appeared; we do not know why. If you want to see the current 718 for yourself, they are on the Ranger Boats page, and the method is described in how we crawl employer boards.
