AdventHealth Posted 559 New Roles This Week, Topping Every Employer We Track

By Ben Garves

AdventHealth put up 559 new listings in the last seven days across the employer boards we track, more than any other organization in our index and about 6.2% of the 8,979 new roles that appeared site-wide over the same stretch.

The company now shows 991 open roles in total. That means roughly 56% of everything currently open under its name was posted inside the last week. For an employer of that size, a ratio that high usually points to a batch refresh of a job board rather than a slow accumulation — either a large seasonal or cyclical intake, or a republish of existing requisitions. The crawl records what the board shows, not the intent behind it.

AdventHealth this week

How that compares

AdventHealth's 559 is 160 listings ahead of the next employer, Ranger Boats at 399. On total open roles, the gap is narrower: Cleveland Clinic sits at 885 open against AdventHealth's 991, despite adding 320 this week rather than 559. Cleveland Clinic's postings have simply been on the boards longer.

New listings this week, top 10 employers

Health systems account for three of the ten busiest employers this week. Alongside AdventHealth and Cleveland Clinic, Lifepoint Hospitals added 216 new roles against 361 open. The rest of the top ten is retail, food and facilities: See's Candies (319 new, 477 open), Meijer (299 / 665), Tyson Foods (238 / 606), Target (228 / 679), JLL (211 / 374) and Longs Drugs (207 / 221).

Longs Drugs is the other interesting ratio in that list: 207 of its 221 open roles are new this week, or 94%. AdventHealth's 56% is high, but it is not the outlier.

The week around it

The site-wide backdrop was a little quieter. New postings across the boards we track came in at 8,979 roles for the week, down 3% from 9,268 the week before. Openings ran slightly ahead of closings: 8,379 roles came down in the same seven days, with 58,887 listings still open.

California led the states with 1,069 new roles this week, followed by Texas at 615, New York at 410 and Florida at 377. Those are site-wide state counts covering every employer on the boards we crawl, not an AdventHealth breakdown — the packet does not split one employer's postings by state. Florida fell from 506 the prior week; among the 12 states with the most new roles, Ohio made the sharpest move in percentage terms, up 63% from 216 to 353.

One more note on the week's shape: remote roles were just 5% of new postings. Whatever these 8,979 roles are, the large majority of them are tied to a place.

If you want to watch this employer directly, the AdventHealth page carries its current open roles, and US hiring trends, day by day tracks how the site-wide new-versus-closed balance moves from here. Details on how these counts are gathered are in how we crawl employer boards.

Correction, October 11, 2026: An earlier version of this post counted every closed listing rather than closed roles, and compared each week with the one before using only roles still open, which overstated closures and growth. The figures above have been recomputed, and comparisons the data cannot yet support have been removed.
