Customer Service Director

A Customer Service Director sets and executes customer experience strategy for an entire support organization, overseeing call centers, help desks, or field service teams and providing team leadership to managers below them. They monitor performance metrics and KPIs like CSAT, resolution time, and first-contact resolution, drive process improvement initiatives to reduce cost and boost quality, and administer CRM systems that unify customer data across channels. This senior leadership role reports to a VP of Operations or COO and is typically held by an experienced people manager who has advanced through frontline and mid-management customer service roles.
