Zapateado

Zapateado is a percussive style of footwork found in flamenco and various Latin American folk dances, in which dancers strike the floor with their heels, toes, and soles to create rhythmic, drum-like patterns. It serves both as a form of musical accompaniment and dramatic expression, requiring precise timing, strong technique, and often improvisation in response to live music.
