Mukna

Mukna is a traditional form of wrestling practiced in Manipur, a state in northeastern India, in which competitors grip each other around the waist with interlocked hands before attempting to throw their opponent to the ground. Unlike many other wrestling styles, strikes are not allowed and the match is decided entirely by grappling technique and balance. It holds deep cultural significance in Manipuri society and is featured at traditional festivals and state-level sporting events.
