Top Rope Climbing

Top rope climbing is a style of rock or wall climbing in which the climber's rope runs from a belayer at the base, up through an anchor at the top of the route, and back down to the climber. Because a fall is caught almost immediately, it is considered one of the safest and most beginner-friendly ways to climb, common in climbing gyms.
