Sarinda
The sarinda is a bowed folk string instrument found in India, Bangladesh, and Nepal, typically carved from a single piece of wood into a partly open, boat-like shape. Simpler in construction than its relative the sarangi, it is used mainly in folk, devotional, and regional traditional music to accompany singing.
