Pet Sitting

Pet sitting is the practice of caring for someone else's pets—feeding, walking, administering medication, and providing companionship—while the owner is away, either in the owner's home or the sitter's own home. It has grown into a popular gig-economy job through apps and services connecting sitters with pet owners, and also appeals to animal lovers who enjoy spending time with pets without the long-term commitment of ownership. Many sitters build regular clientele through word of mouth or online pet-care platforms.
