Cricket Fighting

Cricket fighting is a traditional Chinese practice, dating back over a thousand years, in which male crickets are pitted against each other in a small arena to fight, often with spectators placing bets on the outcome. Prized fighting crickets are bred and trained carefully, and the pastime remains especially popular in China during autumn cricket season.
