Trail Hunting

Trail hunting is an activity in which hounds follow a pre-laid artificial scent trail across the countryside, mimicking traditional fox hunting without pursuing a live animal. It developed in the UK largely in response to the Hunting Act 2004, which banned hunting live quarry with dogs. Participants enjoy the horseback riding, hound work, and countryside tradition associated with historic hunts.
