Ice Speedway

Ice speedway is a motorcycle racing sport in which riders compete on oval ice tracks using specially built motorcycles fitted with hundreds of long metal spikes screwed into the tires for grip, reaching high speeds while leaning at extreme angles through turns. Popular in Russia, Scandinavia, and other cold-climate countries, it is contested internationally through events like the FIM Ice Speedway World Championship. The sport is known for its dramatic sideways cornering style and the visual spray of ice kicked up by the spiked tires.
