Ice Sledge Racing

Ice sledge racing refers to competitive racing events in which participants propel or ride sledges across ice, testing speed and control on a low-slung sled rather than skates or skis. It exists as a niche and largely informal or regional winter sport, distinct from the sledge hockey played in Paralympic competition, and is more commonly encountered as a recreational or folk winter activity in snowy, cold-climate communities.
