Fujian White Crane

Fujian White Crane is a southern Chinese martial art (kung fu) style originating in Fujian province, said to be inspired by observing the movements of a crane. It emphasizes short, whipping strikes, vibrating "shaking" power (jin), and evasive footwork, and it had a significant influence on the development of Okinawan karate, particularly through masters who traveled between Fujian and Okinawa.
