Bartitsu

Bartitsu is an eclectic self-defense martial art created in England around 1898 by Edward William Barton-Wright, combining jujitsu, judo, boxing, savate (French kickboxing), and cane fighting. It became famous through its (misspelled as 'baritsu') mention in Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes stories and has been revived by modern martial arts enthusiasts and historical fencing groups.
