Aiki-Jūjutsu

Aiki-jūjutsu (or aikijujutsu) is a traditional Japanese martial art that uses joint locks, throws, and pins combined with subtle balance-breaking techniques (aiki) to redirect an opponent's force rather than meet it head-on. It served as the historical basis for modern aikido, and practitioners today train it both for self-defense and as a way to study classical samurai-derived combat principles.
