Flag Football

A non-contact variant of American football in which ball carriers are down when an opponent pulls a flag or flag belt from their waist instead of being tackled. It is popular as a safer, lower-equipment alternative for youth, school, and recreational leagues, and has grown into a competitive sport with its own national and international championships, including inclusion in the 2028 Olympics.
