Blind Football

Blind football (5-a-side football for blind athletes) is a Paralympic sport in which totally blind players wear eyeshades for uniformity and use a ball fitted with internal bells so they can track it by sound, while sighted guides behind the goal call out directional cues. Matches are played on a smaller pitch with rebound boards along the sidelines to keep the ball in play, and spectators are asked to stay silent during play. It demands exceptional spatial awareness, trust between teammates, and close ball control.
