Didgeridoo

The didgeridoo is a wind instrument developed by Aboriginal Australians of northern Australia at least 1,000 years ago, traditionally made from a eucalyptus branch hollowed out by termites. Playing it produces a continuous low-pitched drone, and skilled players use circular breathing to sustain notes indefinitely while adding rhythmic and vocal effects. Hobbyists are drawn to its meditative, breath-control challenge and its deep, resonant sound.
