Camel Racing

Camel racing is a competitive sport in which camels are raced over set distances, historically ridden by lightweight jockeys and, in recent decades, increasingly guided by small robotic jockeys controlled remotely by owners driving alongside the track. It is especially popular and lucrative in Gulf countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, where it carries deep cultural and Bedouin heritage significance. Fans follow it much like horse racing, with prize money, breeding programs, and dedicated racetracks.
