Beach Karate

Beach karate refers to the practice of karate techniques, forms (kata), and sparring drills conducted on sand rather than in a traditional dojo, often as part of outdoor training camps, seminars, or demonstrations at coastal locations. Training on sand increases the physical demand on balance, stance stability, and leg strength due to the unstable footing. It is popular among karate schools for summer training retreats and community demonstrations that combine martial arts practice with a beach setting.
