Baguazhang

Baguazhang is an internal Chinese martial art characterized by its distinctive circular walking footwork, from which practitioners launch palm strikes, throws, and evasive maneuvers. Developed in 19th-century China and often credited to Dong Haichuan, it emphasizes fluid, continuous movement and redirecting an opponent's force rather than meeting it head-on. It is practiced both for self-defense and as a health-promoting exercise, similar in spirit to tai chi.
