Snowboard Cross

Also called boardercross, this is a snowboarding discipline in which several riders race simultaneously down a downhill course featuring jumps, banked turns, and rollers, with the first across the finish line advancing. It has been part of the Winter Olympics since 2006 and is prized for its close, contact-heavy racing that combines speed with tactical positioning.
